In 2015 I was a part of the McDonald’s nationwide ‘Food Reimagined’ photography refresh. By featuring these menu options in a sharp side-by-side contrast, you can see the fresh, real individual ingredients that actually make the meal whole. This new look is a complete departure from the polished, perfect, almost plastic looking food images that consumers are familiar with on the McDonald's menu today. Real food is imperfect. Now we see the difference. Here is a sampling of images I helped Art Direct while working with the McDonald's team. The images where used on their mobile app, menus, and website.
